Maha Mohammad

Maha Mohammad Maher (MD) since 2000 from faculty of Medicine, Mansoura University. Professor of Internal Medicine since 2010;Gastroenterology & Hepatology unit, Mansoura University .

I am director of Specialized Medical Hospital since 2016 till now, founder of IBD team and clinic. My special interest is Inflammatory Bowel Disease, published more than 50 peer reviewed articles. Also editor and reviewer in international journals, scientific coordinator of the Egyptian Society of Inflammatory Bowel Disease. supervisor of 30 master and MD thesis.

Share and arrange of National and International workshops and hands on training of using Gastrointestinal endoscopies at Emergency Hospitals and Specialized Medical Hospital, Mansoura University.

Scientific coordinator for MD degree since 2013 till 2016, sharing in postgraduate training, exams for Gastroenterology and Hepatology degree.

Principle Investigator of  STDF project: Role of the vitamin D in maintaining integrity of the intestinal mucosal barrier and its potential therapeutic effect in Ulcerative Colitis Model: Experimental study.
